
Steering Committee
Purpose:
The Steering Committee is the main governing body of the CPCRC. The Steering Committee is composed of the PDs/PIs of each Clinical Center in the Consortium, the PDs/PIs of the Data Coordinating Center, the NIDDK Project Scientist and the NIDDK Program Official. The Steering Committee will have primary responsibility for the general organization of the Consortium and approval of prioritized main studies, publications, and ancillary studies. The Steering Committee will be responsible for the conduct and monitoring of studies and reporting study results. Major scientific decisions regarding the core data will be determined by the Steering Committee. Topics for investigational and treatment protocols will be proposed and prioritized by the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee will document progress in written reports to the NIDDK Program Official and will provide periodic supplementary reports upon request.
