The Executive Committee is composed of the Steering Committee Co-Chairs, the PD/PI of the Data Coordinating Center (DCC), the NIDDK Project Scientist, and NIDDK Program Official. Other NIDDK and DCC personnel, as deemed necessary by the Project Scientist and Program Official, may also be included. The Executive Committee will be convened to effect management decisions required between Steering Committee meetings, as required for the function of the Consortium. The Executive Committee expedites the work of the Steering Committee and assists the Co-chairs of the Steering Committee. It coordinates the administrative and research activities of the CPCRC on a regular basis and provides a mechanism for communication on the management of the CPCRC. The Executive Committee makes recommendations on major policy issues to the Steering Committee.
